Two personalities share the body of Cho’gall: Gall, cunning master of dark magics and forbidden incantations, and Cho, who’s never met a problem he couldn’t punch really, really hard. When working together, Cho’s powerful attacks and Gall’s destructive spells feed into each other to make Cho’gall’s enemies rue the day they crossed paths with this ogre. With Cho’s brawn and Gall’s dark powers, these two are ready to take the Nexus by storm...
Cooperation and teamwork is the name of the game when playing Cho'Gall. Cho is the warrior of the two, and is in charge of movement (and positioning),as well as the hero's mount(Z), while Gall is the assassin, with ranged attacks (and dealing the damage for the both of them), and controls the hero's escape/chase - ("hurry up, oaf!"(Z)).
Cho'gall is a beast on the battlefield, where his strengths can also be his weaknesses, in that he's controlled by two players. Each player has their own set of abilities, ultimate spell, mount abilities, and cooldowns. Cho is in charge of movement for the both and more importantly positioning, while Gall has the ability to usher the two of them to safety or give chase.
Due to Cho'gall's kit and sheer size (in HPs) it is not wise to take him on in a 1v1, so when trying to achieve objectives, it's best to bring the team. Also, since Cho'gall is controlled by two players, his deaths count as two hero deaths.
Cho'gall should be played aggressively, while being mindful of all fundamentals of heroes of the storm that applies to all heroes. To play Cho'gall optimally, make sure you and your teammate discuss builds that compliment each other well. I may go into detail in that regard at a later date.
