Li Li AA'ing any healer is a good way to finish the 'Creed of the Hunter' quest talent. Plus it deprives opposing heroes of heals, so be ready to escape if the numbers aren't in your favor.

Murky Fish in a pan. Even with [[Fishtank]] though, the blocked basic attacks still count toward the 'Creed of the Hunter' quest. Neutralize his Pufferfish with a single basic attack.

Dehaka Any hero with a medium to long stun (.5s or longer) can be a threat; don't rush them when you're alone and/or when they're not. This is true for Valla no matter how you build her.

Playing the 'new' Valla Top

These three builds feature the talent-synergy combos. Of course there are a few substitutions that may work better in certain situations. From experience, though, the talent Gloom should be avoided IMO as it doesn't prevent enough ability damage (23-50%, button is inactive with 0 hatred) or any basic damage, stuns, poisons, blinds or silences and lowers your survivability and DPS. Even so, Gloom is still a popular talent; perhaps as a last-resort survival talent (dunno, you tell or show me). Also, Manticore (unless it works on bosses and structures) is not likely to be a factor so late in a game (level 17+) without Rancor at level 20.

The builds seem almost prefabricated by the dev/balance team, so I'm not going to go in-depth in describing them. It seems enough to advise erring on the side of caution but find a constant supply of 'targets' at the same time. The 'default' build is obviously a safer build that turns 'runners' into take-downs. The 'Risky' version may work even better if your support is an AOE healer.

If you're a new Valla player, here's a fair-warning about Vault.. it will not dodge Auto Attacks. This is most painfully obvious when a fort or tower sets its sights on you but also true for Sgt Hammer's mines, Nazeebo's Corpse Spiders and other such homing attacks. Your only chances to avoid damage from (some) of these is to Vault through something that blocks visibility (white eye icon) or through an in-tact fort, keep or core-respawn wall so that they have no path to you.
