Hello, and welcome to the
Fast Food Azmodan Build. In this build we will be going over the intricacies and tactics of Fast Food Azmodan. This guide is written by
Boreal, a Platinum player of middling skill that had to google what peel meant.
What is Fast Food Azmodan?
Fast Food Azmodan is a build meant to maximize enjoyment whilst minimizing effort. Must like Fast Food, this build is best played when you're too tired to care, but still hungry for more Heroes of the Storm. Also like fast food, it will give you immediate gratification then eventually leave you hollow and wishing for a play-style of more substance.
The end goal of Fast Food Azmodan is to have chart topping stats, low deaths from lack of contribution and to hopefully game the HoTs analytics to award you MVP. Hence force protecting you from any criticism by non-MVP members.
Fast Food Azmodan Pros
Fast Food Azmodan Cons
The Build
Fast Food Azmodan maximizes immediate gratification whilst eschewing actual late-game staying power. To achieve this the follow talents will be taken at their respective levels. In this section we will also attempt to preemptively answer many common questions players might have for this build, and Azmodan in general.
Tier 1
Sieging Wrath
Sieging Wrath is the core of Fast Food Azmodan, this spell allows you to quickly ramp up damage that will come eventually to a screeching halt around minute 10.
How to use
Sieging Wrath is best used whenever it is up, always, and constantly. Prior to completing your quest, aim for the largest congregation of players on the map- regardless of how practical or sensible it is. A good place to start is at the very beginning of the game. Fire a globe at the enemy gates right as your own teammates are reaching yours. This should result in a 1-4 net of quest hits, feel free to use the results of this first strike to divine the outcome for the rest of the game. Hitting 3-4 enemies is a likely sign of a sure victory and MVP slot, while hitting nothing is a Blizzard-approved excuse to AFK at base.
Why Not...
Taste for Blood?
Taste for Blood requires work and the cooperation of teammates to maximize throughout the entire game. This level of exertion is generally best avoided.
Master of Destruction?
Because you want to actually win.
Tier 2
Army of Hell
Army of Hell is the second stage of the liquid fueled booster rocket that is Fast Food Azmodan.
How to use
In an effort to minimize effort and maximize personal enjoyment, moving between lanes to juggle efficient XP gain and defend forts is largely avoided. To counter this, we will be spamming as many Generals of Hell and Demon Warriors as possible to allow us to stay in mid lane.
Why Not...
Sins Grasp?
Sins Grasp represents another spell icon you must activate, and thus, more work for you.
Hellish Hirings?
Since clearing camps does not contribute to your global siege damage stats, avoid spending excess mana and time on these features.
Tier 3
Infernal Globe
Infernal Globe allows faster gratification.
How to use
Infernal Globe takes the calculation and uncertainty out of Globe of Annihilation due to the
near-instantaneous transmission of globes across the map.
Why Not...
No further explanation needed.
Tier 4
Black Pool
Black Pool further accelerates your stat padding by boosting your Globe of Annihilation's damage output.
How to use
Simply use Black Pool whenever you are about to use GoA on a particuarly large clump of enemies.
Why Not...
Demonic Invasion?
Demonic Invasion does not help boost your stats as efficiently as Black Pool.
Tier 5
Hedonism
Hedonism merely allows further stat padding, use liberally.
How to use
No further explanation needed.
Why Not...
Hellforged Armor?
Hellforged Armor is a very good secondary alternative, but requires slightly more work than pressing Q.
Infused Power?
No.
Tier 6
Battleborn
Battleborn streamlines the Fast Food Azmodan experience by offshoring your passive ability to your Globe of Annihilation.
How to use
Simply cast GoA as normal, with the added sense of smug superiority that your siege damage is receiving a small constant increase.
Why Not...
Sin for Sin?
Sin for Sin, much like Sin's Grasp requires additional extraneous effort.
Tier 7
Forced Recruitment
Forced Recruitment reinforces the ideological pillar of Fast Food Azmodan that allows him to stay in mid lane all game, by granting Azmodan another General of Hell- further siege damage can be done in lanes not currently occupied.
How to use
Use any additional General of Hell's on lanes that are falling behind because you never visited them. While it may be tempting to use this abiity to push new lanes, you will generally accrue larger siege damage numbers by giving them solo lanes to spend their entire summoned life in, rather than dying in a contested lane.
Why Not...
Fifth Circle?
Fast Food Azmodan should never be close enough to a team fight for Fifth Circle to be viable. If you find yourself in a situation where Fifth Circle appears to be a legitimate pick, back up several dozen yards and resume normal operations.
Bolt of the Storm?
Bolt of the Storm, much like Fifth Circle, has little use for Fast Food Azmodan who should be safely away from any major engagement.
Wrapping Up & Additional Notes
I hope you've enjoyed this informative guide to the laziest of Azmodans. During the course of your matches, make sure to emphasize how high your Siege, Hero Damage and XP contribution numbers are whenever someone complains that you are halfway across the map taking potshots at a T2 fort during a teamfight.
If you stay true to Fast Food Azmodan, you should be awarded with an MVP for your 0 deaths every game, further solidifying you are a contributing member to the HoTs community.
Thanks again,
Boreal
