Hey guys! Before the reset I was Rank 1 with almost 3,000 MMR. I finished my placements and am currently rank 7. Since his release, I have been playing Kharazim non stop. He is a fantastic healer, the best in the game right now in my opinion. My goal is to share some of the tips and tricks that I have discovered through playing to help you carry those ranked games. I will be updating this guide weekly to keep things up to date.

Reasons for talents

is necessary to get the most out of this build

can be interchangeable with healing ward if used effectively. It's mainly situational, if you find that your team is doing well in the beginning team fight wise, you can use
to either keep everyone in the fight or heal them up enough to take objectives after a fight as opposed to going back to well.

Quite simply, this adds to the overall amount of healing you do. One of the hardest things to get down with
is getting the most out of your
meaning hitting the most amount of people with it. Even though the second burst has no cost, try not to let it go to waste.

this heroic is hands down the best choice for a few reasons. The obvious one being that it can prevent a teammate from dying, which when playing support is pretty important. The next being that the other heroic is terrible and here's why. To get the most out of this heroic, you would have to single out a target like
and hope that she stays in the range. The problem is in a real game you are rarely going to have that situation where you can single out a member of the enemy team because you'll be team fighting so much, and when used in a team fight situation, you'll find that the damage is severely lacking. However when used in 1 on 1 defensive chase situations, you switch the tide of the fight in some cases, but again you'll rarely be put in instances like these.

There is only on situation where you wouldn't get this talent, and that's when you are being focused heavily, you can opt for
. Even then it would be hard to say no to getting this talent. How
works is that whatever you choose at level 1 is going to stack with
. Getting transcendence can make you very strong in team fights which i'll explain later in the Strategy/Mechanics section.

Come level 16 there a few paths you can go down, so any ability choice in this tier depends on the flow of the game. If you find that the enemy team has a lot of cc, like slows and roots, it's better to go with
. If you find that you're able to deal a good amount of hero damage, then it would be better to go with
. If you want more utility, then go with
. I personally go with the greater healing because it's really hard to go wrong with it. I mean, who's going to argue with more healing. The other talents can have some major drawbacks that can sometimes cost you the game. At level 16 it's very important that you choose the right talent, so analyze the other team heavily.

for 20 I never choose the heroic based talents. As stated earlier I don't go with the seven-sided strike, and peaceful response can be a wasted talent.
and
are also situational. If you find that you'er staying in fights longer, but are running into the mana wall, then I would go with Epiphany, plus the reset on your Q sets up possible combos and adds more utility. Storm shield on the other hand you can't go wrong with, the shield for the entire team will help your allies stay in the fight longer, or possibly survive longer.

Strategy and Mechanics Top
Now obviously I can't sit at your desk with you and help better your mechanics, but what I can teach you are some tips and tricks to maximize your healing and utility with Kharazim.
Tips:
- When playing Kharazim, the first thing you should be very conscious about it the positioning of your team and the range of your abilities, get really familiar with both.
- Also make sure you keep track of the number of charges on you Q. Currently there is a bug where if you dash to something and you have 2 charges it will proc twice which is annoying af so be careful about that.
- Work on timing your abilities especially if you have something like
. Try to bait the cc and then proc your W, it's a very nice surprise for the enemy team. Although it's hard, try to time your ult. It's very frustrating when you use it on someone and they don't die, but you get blown up.
Tricks/Mechanics:
- In lane you can poke using the two dash technique, meaning you jump to the enemy target and then immediately jump back to an ally. Remember he is still very buggy and if both charges are used, you're a sitting duck!
- You can use the utility of your heal as well. Many times I've dashed to an ally and given them the speed boost they need to kill an enemy target.
- You can also bait the enemy team heavy, by dashing in and proc your E. That in conjunction with your W,
, and
makes you very hard to kill, and the enemy team will often waste time while your assassins take care of them.
Counters Top
I wouldn't say that Kharazim has counters specifically pertaining to him, but there are some teamp comps that he has a lot of difficulty with. Mainly sustain comps. Because he only has burst healing, dupp comps and self-sustain champs like
can give whatever team his on problems in team fights.
