Introduction Top
Nazeebo is a late game Specialist. His Trait, Voodoo Ritual, empowers him throughout the game for killing minions with his poison.
It's really important to kill as much minions as possible, thus you need to rotate lanes frequently to maximize your potential, even if you're a solo laner!
I'm gonna describe the "Push and Survive" build which I think is easy to play while still being very good.
I've included a standard pro build I use now and I feel is stronger, but requires more skill.
Abilities Top
Corpse Spiders is a strong ability that people usually build on, since it does a crazy amoount of damage with the right talents. However, it's a skill-shot and you need to be precise.
Zombie Wall is an interesting ability, setting up a cicle wall of zombies that attack enemies and can be focused by minions, mercs and structures.
Plague of Toads is a good zoning spell that will be empowered throughout the game.
Gargantuan is your first Heroic ability, summoning a giant who can attack around his summoning point, and get focused as your Zombies do.
Ravenous Spirit is your second Heroic ability. It has stronger damage output than Gargantuan, but is less safe overall and less usefull for safe pushing.
Talents Top
Level 1
Widowmakers is the first option you pick for a Spider build.
Pandemic is a valuable talent since you will create more space with 5 toads. The quest is easily completed when you rotate lanes to maximize your Voodoo stacks.
Thing of the Deep is consistent is you want to stay at a safer distance, and the bonus is instant.
Level 4
Hexed Crawlers is only interesting in Spider builds.
Big Voodoo makes you even stronger in late game, and overall.
Blood Ritual gives you more instant bonuses than Big Voodoo, but you're less strong late game.
Level 7
Spirit of Arachyr is the option to go for the Spider build.
Dead Rush is the least interesting talent here. The bonus from the zombies chasing someone is neglectable.
Toads of Hugeness is the talent to pick with the Pandemic quest. Having 5 toads that become more menacing is a strong tool to either deal damage or create space.
Level 10
Gargantuan is your safest option and you can get a lot of value from it. It helps you taking big camps by yourself, pushing structures while retreating...
Ravenous Spirit is your second option, less safe since you cannot move while channeling and the spirit cannot get focused.
Level 13
Guardian Toads has too little of a protection for it to be intersting.
Superstition grants you spell armor, making you less suceptible to abilities and ultimates! Stay at range so you don't get hit by basic attacks which negates your shield.
Ice Block helps you survive in a pinch or teamfight. It's strong, but the spell armor being active all the time is a good bonus and easier to use.
Level 16
Spider Colony is the Spider build talent (how many times did I use this sentence?).
Ring of Poison will empower your pushing ability, and can deal a crazy amount of damage if you can trap someone in your Zombie Wall.
Soul Harvest is the other option you can go with. The burst strength and health bonus helps you survive and deal damage.
Level 20
Humongoid is the way to go if you don't have enough stacks on Voodoo Ritual at this point of the game.
Annihilating Spirit is not availiable since we didn't pick the Ravenous Spirit.
Fury of the Storm sounds interesting, but the overall bonus is less interesting than Humongoid.
Vile Infection is just so powerful you destroy everything. However, you need to have your stacks already or be very close to getting them. Pick Humongoid if you don't have them.
Several tips Top
First thing, your
Zombie Wall block enemies and allies. If you're hindering an ally, press the button once more to resorb it!
At first, concentrate on getting as much stacks as possible, rotate through lanes and poke heroes with your Toads. Don't wait until the minions die to rotate, they only need to be poisoned when dying for you to get your stacks.
When you got more toads and
Toads of Hugeness is active, you can start getting little camps by yourself very quickly, using your zombies to distract them. Be sure to fire your toads from a distance to get more damage.
After getting lvl 10, you can do bigger camps solo, alternating zombies and your giant to get the mercs distracted so you never take damage.
If an objective is nearly lost, or if a teamfight is happening in another lane, you can push a fort or keep by yourself, especially when you hit lvl 16. Retreat before the structure gets destroyed, and use your Giant to finish it.
When your quest is completed, engage teamfights with your team, you will do a tremendous amount of damage and pretty much win the game.
