Isn't this talent choice a bit outdated? I don't want to discredit MrJPickles in any way, but I haven't seen anyone running anything close to this. Everybody seems to favor a couple beetle talents, some even regeneration master.
Also, question: in which situations can Hive Master be better than resurgence? I mean, resurgence is so strong, they are thinking about removing the whole thing, but Hive Master grants you such ridiculous sustain and extra damage. When taken in combination with spike burst thingy and burning rage you can dish out a good amount of damage in pve and pvp.
Any insights from the more experienced players would be nice :)
I agree it is slightly outdated but still viable. Since rewind is gone I would take Blood for Blood if they have high health unites like Arthas, Stitches, etc. Imposing presence is strong if they have heave auto attackers as this will help you survive a bit longer. Epicenter has some merit now too but in the meta today I feel Blood for Blood outweighs them all.
As for 20 I have toyed with Hive Master and it is pretty strong. Since rewind is gone it does allow him a bit more survivability but resurgence is still just super strong! Hive master can be used if you find yourself not being focused down a lot or if you have enough backup support (Uther heals, Tassadar Shields) that the extra damage and life leech will really swing your way. I'll make sure to make edits in the build! ^_^ Thanks for the reply

I can't really say for the Blood for Blood, but everything else in the build checks out as a utility tank in high meta NA play. Rarely will you see Beetles in a draft game, it's more of a solo queue thing or special tactic.
Right now, I can't think of a situation as a tank where Resurgence of the Storm still doesn't win.
