Very comprehensive and in-depth guide. The logic behind picking every talent and synergy info are quite an eye opener to Sylvans. I feel that I can adapt her in game to how the situatuon goes without random talent picking.
I'm actually thinking about writting a generic strategy guide. Not sure if I really have the time for it but it doesnt cost me anything to think about it :)
About Hero Guides, there are only few heroes that I love enough to make a guide about them ( Zeratul being the only other one that comes to my mind right now).
But, if you're playing with people you know that can handle 4v5, you can push straight through with Possession ; it's also good if you're behind, because you basically defeat minion waves in less than 3 seconds and force your opponent to have to deal with constant double waves of minions.
If think it is very under efficient to pick Sylvanas only to splitpush. The Wailing Arrow provide too much utility in teamfights to get rid of it only to establish a splitpush situation.
Never said it was better than Wailing Arrow, just that it was more viable than before. I'd say take Wailing Arrow if you're soloing in Hero League/Quick Match, or the team is weak on CC. You may want to revisit Possession, as it's now more viable a selection. Not only can you take over an entire wave of minions in around 3 seconds with this at level 10, but the minions are considered defeated; you get the XP for them, and any drops they have (regen globes for the wizards, crystals for the spiders on Tomb of the Spider Queen) drop as well.
I watched my friend use this on Tomb, where his team was down 3 levels by the time he got to pick Possession, and all of his team's outer forts were gone. He proceeded to turn around all the enemy minion waves, and started to solo bot by himself.

Actively playing Sylvanas right now.
Possession still looks damn weak to me or at least too weak compared to Wailing Arrow.
Needs further testing.

His team won by the end.
Thanks for your feedback, helps me getting the job done :)
