I used to only pick The Hunt, but it's the fun/yolo/pubstomp Heroic. Metamorphosis is definitely the better of the two in "tryhard" situations, if you will. Also depends on your MMR and the enemy's team comp, but I'd venture to say vs 80% of team comps and nearly 100% of Hero League team comps, Metamorphosis is the favorable Heroic. Seems apparent to me that the Siege Giant had delayed damage and actually just barely finished its attack animation prior to dying. This actually has happened to me pretty often, where when doing camps I will take damage after the neutral minions have died. Its never killed me, but I have noticed it before.

Stoneskin relies on you hitting 3+ targets with Metamorphosis to get a really good shield, but this makes sense because you're getting rid of Sixth Sense. By not picking up Sixth Sense and instead taking Giant Killer, I'm assuming the enemy team is quite beefy and doesn't have a lot of those squishier high DPS Heroes. Rancor used to be the pick of choice when Valla still had Battle Momentum even in Multi-Shot builds, but there's not a huge incentive to pick it in such a build any longer. The viability really depends on the rest of your build. However, the reason Multi-Shot is appealing in the first place is so you don't have to get close to your opponent. There are scenarios where you can't safely AA often. Personally I wouldn't pick Rancor...
