Abathur:
Symbiote builds are most common and most sucessful. Heroics are close to 50-50.
Anub'arak:
Vast majority are beetlebuilds that differ only in the lvl 20 talent.
Hive Master,
Hardened Shield and
Rewind are all viable. The nerfs did not change the talent choices at all during the first week, but his win% dropped closer to 50%.
Arthas:
Heroics are 50-50. If you pick
Summon Sindragosa feel free to select
Absolute Zero as well. The Level 13 Talent is almost an even split among
Relentless,
Biting Cold and
Spell Shield.
Stoneskin keeps being very popular.
Regeneration Master and
Block are close, with the first being ahead currently.
Azmodan:
Level 20 Talent is flexible, the rest is consensus.
Taste for Blood builds in > 90% of games.
Brightwing:
There are two ways Brightwing is played in Master League:
Hyper Shift,
Phase Shield and
Double Wyrmhole or
Unfurling Spray,
Mistified and
Revitalizing Mist.
Peekaboo! is picked in 25% of games, so feel free to counter stealthers. The Level 16 Talent is kinda flexible between
Critterize,
Greater Polymorph and
Bouncy Dust with the latter in the lead and finally,
Storm Shield can be picked up in either build at level 20. All in all we see a great build diversity, but the winrate suffered a lot with the talent changes.
Chen:
If no healer, get
Swift Reflexes over
Amplified Healing. For the first time we see
Storm, Earth, Fire be the heroic of choice, but to be fair they are almost 50-50. Not a popular hero currently and therefore only limited data.
Diablo:
Rampage as an alternative to
Imposing Presence at level 16. Heroics are 50-50. If you choose
Lightning Breath, consider
Hellstorm at 20.
ETC:
Powersilde builds are still very popular. Level 16 Talent is flexible between
Speed Metal,
Echo Pedal and
Imposing Presence with Pedal in the lead.
Mosh Pit chosen in 90% of Games.
Falstad:
Build is pretty flexible. Seasoned Marksman /
Vampiric Assault builds are played as well (20% of games).
Secret Weapon /
BOOMerang at level 7 and
Hammer Time /
Overdrive at level 16 can be combined in any fashion.
Gazlowe:
Only clear consensus is
Miniature Black Hole.
After the
Promote nerf the level 4 talents are very flexible between
Goblin Fusion,
Clockwerk Steam Fists and
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
Rock-It! Turret XL is an alternative to
Engine Gunk at level 7, especially if you face only ranged heroes.
Illidan:
Still the same build after the
Metamorphosis nerf, but
The Hunt is no chosen every fourth game. Sometimes
Sixth Sense is swapped for
Giant Killer. At level 20 you are bit more flexible between
Demonic Form,
Nexus Blades and
Bolt of the Storm now with 45%, 30% and 20% pickrate respectively.
Jaina:
Snowstorm kept rising in popularity after
Envenom was confirmed trash and is now the most picked talent at level 2, followed by
Arcane Intellect. The rest is fairly set in stone on all tiers except tier 6.
Northern Exposure is chosen roughly equally often.
Sprint was simply replaced by
Improved Ice Block.
Johanna:
Knight Takes Pawn is now the standard.
Blessed Shield proves to be the Heroic of choice being selected in over 95% of games. Level 7 and 16 are still flexible tho with
Conviction,
Imposing Presence and
Holy Renewal being viable alternatives, but it is safe to say that the featured build is the most used by quite a bit.
Kael'thas:
Phoenix at 95% popularity.
Flamethrower became much more popular and now eclipses
Chain Bomb in popularity. The featured build is pretty much set in stone with all choices >80%.
Kerrigan:
Maelstrom in 3/4 games, Ultralisk for push heavy maps/lineups.
Impaling Swarm as an alternative to
Battle Momentum.
Leoric:
This is a starting point for Leoric. Will update the build during the week as more games are played and the rest of the guide in a week.
Lili:
Snake Lili is much less popular than a month ago and about tied in popularity with the Healing Brew build:
Mass Vortex,
The Good Stuff and
Herbal Cleanse.
Make sure to check out
hotslogs as there are quite a few viable builds currently.
Malfurion:
Regrowth based builds are popular.
Scouting Drone on maps where it's good.
Elune's Grace as an alternative to
Rampant Growth at level 4 and
Cleanse at level 7 if it is needed (picked around 25% of the time). Finally,
Hardened Focus is an alternative to
Tenacious Roots at level 16.
Muradin:
Perfect Storm +
Sledgehammer on some Maps. Othwise pretty clear consensus on this build except
Hardened Shield and
Rewind which are dead even.
Murky:
Never take
March of the Murlocs.
Slime Advantage currently more popular than
Tufferfish, but both viable. The full
Safety Bubble build is played every third game:
Bubble Breeze,
Bubble Machine,
Rejuvenating Bubble, sometimes combined with
Bolt of the Storm. Interesting: The bubble build was played in 42 games and only 3 of those were losses...
Nazeebo:
3/4 games with
Gargantuan. Spider build is pretty staple at this point.
Bolt of the Storm at level 20 is an alternative if you get focused a lot.
Nova:
Crippling Shot and
Bolt of the Storm as alternatives. Very little talent diversity.
Raynor:
Give Me More! is not far behind Seasoned Marksman. Any combination of Auto Attack and Q build is being played with the listed hybrid build being played the most. But feel free to use
Confident Aim or
Giant Killer. The Heroics are 50-50.
Rhegar:
Healing Totem fell out of favor and was mostly replaced by
Spiritwalker's Grace. With
Tidal Waves being added and being very popular,
Healing Surge is also seeing an uptick in use and is currently ahead of
Feral Lunge by quite a bit.
Sgt. Hammer:
Still fairly large consensus except for Level 7 where
Graduating Range,
Hover Siege Mode and
Stoneskin all see play. Advanced Napalm Strike is down to 30% and was mostly replaced by
Nexus Frenzy. Hammer is very unpopular in the current meta and the sample is less than 100 games over a week... (popular heroes have 4k+ games).
Sonya:
Focused Attack did not stop at Sonya either. This talent looks to be the real deal on most Heroes that can use it. As you would expect the other talent choices changed as well to complement an auto-attack build. Even
Furious Blow fell out of favor to make
Seismic Slam more spammable for
Follow Through.
War Paint looks viable as well with that build and finally the
Superiority Boss-Solo build reached Master Level and is played in a third of games.
Stitches:
Strong consensus on Fishing Hook.
Chew Your Food and all level 13 talents as alternatives.
Gorge only in 1/3 games.
Sylvanas:
Cold Embrace now favored after the
Blood for Blood nerf. Rest unchanged,
Envenom still very popular.
Possession up at 1.6%! :)
Tassadar:
Defensive builds all around with improved Dimensional Shift.
Calldown: MULE on maps where it's good,
Shrink Ray as alternative.
Second Strike currently more popular than
Dimensional Warp (still a fine choice if you get focused a lot).
Healing Ward and
Promote out of favor after nerfs and replaced by Mental Acuity.
The Butcher
Furnace Blast is the heroic of choice with 75% popularity. The
Hamstring /
Abattoir hybrid build is very popular but full Hamstring or Full Fresh Meat builds are played as well.
Nexus Blades in 25% of games.
Spell Shield as an alternative to Crave Fleash, they are fairly close.
The Lost Vikings:
Not played a lot the moment.
Spin To Win!,
Jump! and
Impatience Is a Virtue build is about equally popular.
Thrall:
Rolling Thunder,
Blood for Blood and
Nexus Blades as alternatives. But mostly this build dominates.
Tychus:
Fairly strong consensus.
Melting Point as an alternative.
Commandeer Odin in 3/4 games.
Tyrael:
A solid all-round build for Tyrael.
Regeneration Master,
Retribution and
Burning Rage as alternatives.
Tyrande:
No consensus best build, lots of alternatives. Even full Sentinel build looks viable. Check
hotslogs for more builds.
Uther:
Very high consensus on this build, no real alternatives.
Divine Shield in >90% of games!
Valla:
Multishot builds are most popular. Heroics are 2:1 in
Strafe's favor.
Rancor/
Manticore/
Giant Killer as an alternative.
Nexus Frenzy if no need for blink.
Q-Build Siphoning Arrow,
Puncturing Arrow,
Repeating Arrow and
Spell Shield gained a lot of popularity and is currently played almost equally often as the multishot build.
Zagara:
Endless Creep as an alternative to
Rapid Incubation at level 7.
Mutalisk currently quite a bit ahead of
Grooved Spines. The rest is fairly set in stone.
Nydus Network almost never chosen.
Zeratul:
Focused Attack along with
Follow Through exploded in popularity and are now chosen >90% of the time.
Nexus Blades and
Rewind are dead even. Seasoned Marksman is not too far behind
Regeneration Master.
