This is a guide to be competitive on ranked games. All builds are played on tournaments by pros.
As you know, don't focus on just a build because it depends on the map, the composition of your team and the enemy team. You may need more survival, more damage, more CC ... read the notes below and adapt to each situation!

Abathur:
The ultimate choice depends of u, both are viables but if u know how to play with the heroes of your team
Ultimate Evolution can be awesome if u use it over a good hero and it depends on what u need. If ur team lack CC u can use it over a Tank (Muradin, Tyrael, Anub..), you're going to tank and annoy the enemy! but usually you will need dmg to burst one or two annoying enemy assasins, so use it over a hero that u KMOW HOW TO USE IT, the best choice always assasins > specialist. (valla, kael, jaina,...).
If u are facing a stealth enemy, remenber to use
Toxic Nest near you to reveal it and so the tower help u to survive. The most dangerous are
Zeratul with
Blink so here you have to use it in front of the wall.
Anub'arak:
If the team needs avoid a big threath
Cocoon is a perfect choice, sometimes u can use it over a support to do a fast kill over the threath(assasins usually), otherwise u can use it over the threath and focus the support.
Locust Swarm gives u constant damage and a bit of healing and help u with survavility.
At lvl 20 if u have chose this ulti u can go for
Hive Master to have more dmg and healing if u want play more aggresive but usually u want chose
Rewind to have more CC, insane CC !! Q+E+W >

Arthas:
Sindragosa if u are offtank or u have 2 supports,
Army of the Dead if u are the main tank.
At lvl 13 u can chose
Shattered Armor if u want more dmg and play more aggresive.
At lvl 20 if u have chose
Army of the Dead u must choose
Legion of Northrend
Auriel:
There are only 1 obvious variaton, and its at lvl 16.
Will of Heaven or
Wrath of Heaven ofc it will depend on who is your carry in the game.
Brightwing:
At lvl 7
Cleanse its always a must have for every support, specially vs high CC teams, otherwise if u think u need more healing u can choose
Mistified
At lvl 10, ultimate choice its 50-50, both are good. Take
Emerald Wind if they have 3 melees or heroes like
Valeera /
Genji with high harassement on u and your carry, so u can disengage easily. Take
Blink Heal if u dont need disengage or u want more movility and healing.
At lvl 13 Iceblock if they burst u or they have high threath habilities like
Pyroblast and a lot of annoying ultimates.
Chromie:
There are ppl who chose the quest
Compounding Aether at lvl 1 but
Timewalker's Pursuit is by far a better choice because gives u visivility. Map control and know where they are its always important! Also gives u mana reg. and ability power, awesome! :D
At lvl 14
Quantum Overdrive its a good choice aswell.
Diablo:
Here are 2 choices that vary. AT lvl 1 u can chose
Bulwark if u are the only tank and there arent offtank or if the enemy comp havent magic dmg.(
Jaina/
Gul'dan/
Chromie/...)
At lvl 13 there are a nice quest
Devastating Charge but u need to charge really good and a good map, BUT if u complete the quest its a insane damage!
At lvl 20 if u have troubles to scape choose
Bolt of the Storm, dont recommend choose ulti oriented talents.
E.T.C.:
The main reason to pick ETC is his high CC, especially
Mosh Pit. Anyway if the have a lot of CC u need to take
Stage Dive and at lvl 20 u can choose
Death Metal. You'll have
Mosh Pit without having chosen before :D
Gul'dan:
At lvl 7
Hunger for Power gives u a lot of dmg and is the best choice, u are assasin so u need all the damage u can afford. Otherwise if u dont feel confortable with the lack of healing
Bound by Shadow is the other option.
At lvl 20
Haunt is the best option! 25% increased dmg and 1 extra second on CC! Otherwise
Demonic Circle is a instant skill to run away on a bad situation and save your life, i like it because dying in late game is a long time and it is important to ensure your survival.
Jaina:
At lvl 1
Lingering Chill its a good option to combine with lvl 7 talent
Frostbitten.
At lvl 7 if u want spam more
Frostbolt u can chose
Ice Lance, but
Frostbitten gives u extra dmg not just for
Frostbolt, to all habilities. So u can build x3
Frostbolt talents, but isnt the best option, only if u want to play very safe.
Kael'thas:
Ulti choice -
Pyroblast only if they are squishy targets or didnt have
Ice Block /
Divine Palm /
Crystal Aegis / etc...
Leoric:
Here are 3 good choices at lvl 7. Its like 33% / 33% / 33%.
Paralyzing Rage is almost the best option, 60% slow and u are melee, so its perfect for u and make sure no one gets away from you.
Ossein Renewal if in your team arent offtank or more frontlines or your support cant burst heal. like malfurion with a
Regrowth.
And
Ghastly Reach is perhaps the worst option of the 3 but if they have a heavy range comp u should take this.
Li Li:
There are another build instead of dragons and its used vs AutoAtackers comps (2 melees + 1 ramged AA).
Lvl 1
Conjurer's Pursuit more mana reg. to spam more or
Gale Force to help with dmg.
Lvl 4
Mass Vortex to blind more targets.
lvl 7 your personal choice.
lvl 13
Surging Winds
lvl 16
Two For One
Lt. Morales
at lvl 13
Intensive Care if u want insane healing burst, but consume a lot of dmg and cant heal yourself
at lvl 16 u can chose a
Displacement Grenade talent to have more charges or to slow more only if they harass you.
Malfurion
At lvl 1
Scouting Drone is the best option, visivility and map control is always important, otherwise if u have a big spammer on your team consuming a lot of mana,
Shan'do's Clarity its a good option!
At lvl 13 u can choose
Ice Block if a enemy are one shoting u or they have high burst dmg.
Muradin:
At lvl 7
Piercing Bolt can be good to stun 2 targets, or
Skullcracker. Anyway
Iron-forged Momentum its better to have less CD on your stun or your jump to engage or jump away, especially if at lvl 16 u choose
Heavy Impact.
There are a lot of ppl playing with
Heavy Impact to have more CC and its a really good option if u dont need
Stoneform and your support can heal u up easily.
At lvl 20
Rewind to combo again, specially with
Heavy Impact talent again, so u can stun 2 diferent guys with Q and jump 2 times to stun again ! If at that point enemy team have to much dmg, take
Hardened Shield instead
Rewind.
Sonya:
At lvl 4
Hurricane if they have
Malfurion or heavy slow comp like Jaina, Varian...
At lvl 13
Life Funnel to improve your selfhealing, its really good but my personal choice and recomendation is
Mystical Spear to have more movility not just for engage, u can run away using spear and wiht
Ferocious Healing and
Nerves of Steel u dont need more healing, u have a big shield and activable heal.
Thrall:
Ultimate choice -
Earthquake vs 3 melees.
Valla:
There are a different build if u cant build AAs because u need to poke and be away. Q build:

Puncturing Arrow

Repeating Arrow
lvl 13 Siphoning Arrow
lvl 16
Frost Shot this slow and range helps u with the poke and play safe.
Use Q+W to slow, E vault back, Q again. Repeat.
